By RYAN PEARSON -- The Associated Press
LOS ANGELES (November 9, 2007 03:20 AM EST) "Call of Duty," the dominant game in the first-person shooter's dominant time period - World War II - has left its roots behind.

How'd they do it? The game studio's founder Grant Collier explains, and shows you around his offices, in this week's edition of "Up Down Left Right." "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" (rated M, $59.99 for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, $49.99 for PC) is out Nov. 5. --- Watch the video here: http://asap.ap.org/data/interactives/_moneyandgadgets/udlr/udlr31/ --- "Up Down Left Right" is a weekly video feature starring asap reporters and gaming gurus DERRIK J. LANG in New York and RYAN PEARSON in Los Angeles. From separate coasts, they provide their take on today's - and sometimes yesterday's - games. E-mail them at updownleftright@ap.org. |
