By CARYN ROUSSEAU -- The Associated Press
CHICAGO (October 12, 2007 04:00 AM EDT) Time to give your same-old, same-old wine pairings (wine and cheese, wine and meats, wine and dessert, etc.) a breather?
At the "All Candy Expo," we found an alcohol-meets-food idea that seems at first like a Homer Simpson pipe dream.

Beer and ... chocolate?

CARYN ROUSSEAU talks with an expert from Cote d'Or chocolates who says strong stouts and porters can bring out the best tastes from milk chocolate to the darkest of dark chocolates.

"It enhances the flavors that are both in the beer and in the chocolate when they come together," says chocolate expert Dana Zemack.
