Ah, sweet memories of New York Fashion Week.

No ... not the one we went through last month - the one back in February that was supposed to tell us what we would be wearing this fall.

But would skinny pants stick? What about the baby doll dress? Neutral colors? Or bright reds and purples?

With the weather cooling down, asap set out to find how well the runways foreshadowed fall fashion.

MEGAN K. SCOTT chose eight looks from the fall runways and, with an assist from ROSA SOBRINO, searched for them in the store racks. We then checked in with Stacy London, co-host of TLC's "What Not to Wear" and Finola Hughes, host of Style's "How Do I Look?" for their take on the fashionability of each outfit.
